LEDs have exploded onto the world market. They took center stage at Beijing's Summer Olympics, with nearly a million LEDs illuminating the National Stadium ('Bird's Nest) and the Water Cube, and they have begun to provide the glow for LCD displays from televisions to notebook PCs. Building on the immense success of its annual LEDs conference in San Diego, IntertechPira's inaugural LEDs Asia event will bring together major players from across the supply to Hong Kong, centrally located in the Asian LED manufacturing hub.
